Let’s discuss the basics! Like any other flooring, from time to time vinyl floors need cleaning. Whether it's dust, footprints or other dirt, a clean floor makes a world of difference. Cleaning a vinyl floor is extremely easy: use a soft broom or vacuum cleaner and a mop. It’s as easy as that. Practical and simple!
How often your floor needs to be cleaned, depends on the traffic and use of the room. A kitchen may need to be cleaned more often than a hallway. A hotel lobby needs more cleaning than a meeting room. It’s up to you to decide how many times per week you want to clean your floor. But, how do you clean your vinyl floor?
Cushion vinyl floors with an additional protective coating, like our PU lacquer, do not normally require polish. However, some of our floors may require polishing to protect the surface from staining and to give a surface shine. For more information, see our installation manual in the support section.

Does vinyl flooring need waxing? No, vinyl floors do not need waxing. Unlike hardwood or tile floors, there is no special treatment required for vinyl.
How to protect your floor from physical damage? Avoid the following:
