Twilight was our first step toward a circular future. Crafted from 100% biocircular attributed PVC. It's a collection for the residential market with a reduced CO2 impact, while providing the usual benefits from CV flooring like easy glue-free installation and low maintenance.
Twilight has even been awarded the international recognized ISCC+ certification. ISCC+ is an international standard certifies the traceability of raw materials derived from biomass or recycling from production to processing.
After the success of Twilight, Beauflor introduces Traces, a new wave of biocircularity. Rooted in the four natural elements—fire, earth, air, and water—Traces combines premium design with sustainability. Fully recyclable and reusable, it minimizes waste while delivering durability and style.
100% of the PVC used in the Twilight & Traces' collections are made from renewable plant-based raw materials. More specifically, we incorporate biological residues, which help preserve our planet’s resources and don't interfere with the food chain: tall oil, a by-product generated during paper pulp manufacture and used cooking oil. Both collections have been awarded Floorscore® certification and A+ indoor air emission* labelling. Thanks to significantly lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions than required in Europe, it meets today’s health and environmental challenges. This volume of biocircular PVC is attributed according to the Mass Balance concept. The flow of bio-based and recycled raw materials is tracked throughout the value chain, attributing specific quantities of certified raw materials at each stage of the manufacturing process. Our ISCC+ certification proves a correct attribution throughout the production of Twilight and Traces.
By incorporating biocircular attributed PVC into our vinyl flooring, we are reducing our dependance on virgin fossil materials. This marks an important milestone in our transition to a circular economy.
