REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. B.I.G. floorcoverings ensures full REACH compliance, excluding harmful substances like formaldehyde, lead, cadmium, mercury, or hexavalent chromium.
ISO14001 certification means that the industrial site complies with all the environmental standards, measures all environmental impacts and is committed to continuously improve its environmental performance. Beauflor’s Belgian and Slovenian plants are ISO 14001 certified.
The most widely used standard for quality control worldwide. The goal of the quality management system is to keep the organization focused on continuous improvement in order to increase customer satisfaction. Beauflor’s Belgian and Slovenian plants are ISO 9001 certified.
ISO 45001 sets guidelines for establishing and improving a management system for workplace health and safety. The standard focuses on the continuous improvement of safety and health performance, meeting legal and other requirements and achieving safety and health objectives. Beauflor's Belgian & Slovenian plant is ISO 45001 certified.
All our vinyl sheet products are produced without plasticizers that contain significant impurities. This means that we only use other non-phthalate plasticizers, such as DOTP. We produce with known virgin raw materials from trustworthy vendors throughout the world and therefore we guarantee 100% ortho-phthalate-free flooring worldwide.
All Beauflor products carry the A+ label, under French legislation as the best accolade for emissions.
AgBB is a committee for the health-related evaluation of building products. Beauflor's vinyl products meet the stringent emission criteria set by the DiBt Institute in Berlin.

This is the most recognized indoor air quality (IAQ) certification standard for hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments in North-America, qualifying for green building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHP.
Beauflor's QNG-Ready products offer proven sustainability and facilitate subsidasation and QNG certification of eligible construction projects.
VinylPlus® is the voluntary commitment to sustainable development of the European PVC industry, working to improve the sustainability performance of PVC. PVC can be recycled multiple times, and VinylPlus® works to do just this! Beauflor is an active member of Vinylplus®.
To provide our clients with full transparency on our products made with biocircular-attributed feedstock, we had both our plants audited by ISCC+. This audit confirmed our compliance with strict sustainability standards for the traceability and attribution of renewable resources throughout the value chain.
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a standardized document that shows the results of a product’s life cycle analysis as well as health information, used to calculate the environmental and health performance of an eco designbuilding. All our ranges are covered by an EPD - which enables our customers to assess the environmental impact of our products and to our engineers, to set eco-design targets according to objective criteria.
ERFMI has prepared EU Life Cycle Assessments for flooring types, resulting in Environment Product Declarations (EPDs). Beauflor is an active ERFMI member.
